BKFC DEBUTS IN KANSAS CITY ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 16!
WELTERWEIGHT CLASH BETWEEN JAKE LINDSEY VS. ELVIN BRITO HEADLINES
Kansas City, KS (June 27, 2024) Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, makes their highly anticipated debut in Kansas City, KS at the famed Memorial Hall on Friday, August 16.
BKFC Fight Night Kansas City is headlined by an outstanding welterweight clash between #2 ranked Jake ‘The Gypsy’ Lindsey, (4-1), of Manhattan, KS and #4 ranked, Former BKFC Welterweight World Champion, Elvin ‘El Bandido’ Brito, (6-4), of Puerto Rico.
“Jake Lindsey and Elvin Brito are two of the very best welterweights in bare-knuckle fighting and this main event promises fireworks from the opening bell,” said David Feldman, Founder and President of BKFC.

Fan favorite Jake Lindsey stormed through the welterweight division starting with his BKFC debut on October 23, 2021, knocking out Eric Thompson in the third-round at BKFC Fight Night Wichita. He followed that up with three more highly impressive stoppages over Derrick Findley (BKFC-23), Brandon Girtz (BKFC-31), and a sensational fourth round knockout of Connor Tierney (BKFC-34) in one of the best BKFC performances in 2023.
Most recently Lindsey came up short in a hotly contested, distance fight against Gorgan Slaveski at BKFC-49 contested for the vacant BKFC Welterweight World Title.
The all-action Brito, earned his first bare knuckle victory with a fifth-round knockout of Harris Stephenson at BKFC-3. Fighting at BKFC Fight Night Jackson MS on January 29, 2022, Brito defeated Kaleb Harris, earning the BKFC Welterweight World Title. Defending against BKFC Pound-for-Pound great Luis Palomino, Brito would lose the title in the main event at BKFC-26.
Brito enters the ring on August 16 coming off a show-stopping first round knockout of Ja’Far Fortt at BKFC Fight Night: Clearwater on April 12, 2024.
Co-featured at BKFC Fight Night Kansas City in the lightweight division, Kevin ‘Crash’ Croom, (2-1), of Columbia, MO battles fast-rising newcomer Emeka Ifekandu, (2-0), of Omaha, NE. Following a heated distance clash with Tony Soto on October 20, 2023, fan favorite Croom seeks an entry in the win column. Ifekandu’s dominant victories have come against Charlie DuBray on May 13, 2022 and Sean Wilson on May 17, 2024, both taking place in Omaha.
In the feature fight of the evening, hometown favorite Zebulin ‘CWB’ Vincent, (2-1), battles #2 ranked Doug ‘Coldred’ Coltrane, (3-1), of North Carolina. Zebulin hits the ring on August 16 following a third-round stoppage of Casey Mosey on May 31, 2024. Coltrane looks to return to the winner’s circle after challenging David Mundell for the BKFC Middleweight World Title at BKFC-53 on November 3, 2023.
