Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), The World’s Fastest Growing Combat Sports Promotion, makes their triumphant return to Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, November 23 with the highly anticipated BKFC Fight Night Los Angeles event at Thunder Studios.
BKFC Fight Night Los Angeles is headlined by a lightweight clash between Bare-Knuckle Internet Sensation Ruben ‘Badboy’ Warr, (2-0), of Louisville, KY and Bovar ‘The Gladiator’ Khanakov, (1-2), of California.
“The Los Angeles area has become one of our top markets in the country,” said David Feldman, Founder and President of BKFC. “From the first day tickets went on sale for our KnuckleMania IV event at the Peacock Theater in February of this year, Southern California combat sport fans have been incredibly supportive of our events and we are committed to bringing the most exciting promotions to them.”
“Ruben Warr headlined our event at the Pechanga Casino on July 12 and knocked out Robbie Peralta with the first punch he threw. It was literally over in five seconds, one of the fastest stoppages in combat sports and created a video clip which was a viral sensation that hit every sports and entertainment platform in the world.”
“However, Bovar Khanakov is a very tough Ukrainian bare-knuckle fighter looking to make his mark in BKFC in a fight that we expect fireworks from the first bell.”
‘The Thunder Studios venue is a very intimate location and I strongly encourage BKFC fans to purchase tickets well in advance for another outstanding bare-knuckle fighting event.”
Headlining at BKFC’s second Los Angeles area event on July 12 at the Pechanga Casino Resort, Ruben Warr scored a one-punch show-stopping knockout of hometown favorite Robbie Peralta with the video clip immediately becoming an internet sensation.
Bovar Khahakov impressed BKFC fans with his debut on April 21, 2023, winning an action-packed unanimous decision over Freddy Masabo. He looks to bounce back against Warr following a hard-fought loss to James Brown on February 16, 2024.
Competing in the co-main event at BKFC Fight Night Los Angeles in the heavyweight division, newcomers Lavar Johnson of San Jose, CA and Orlando Coulter of Dallas, TX will face-off.
In the feature fight of the evening, Lancaster, CA native Keith Richardson, (2-0), and Brandon Coley, (1-0), of Chillicothe, OH battle in a cruiserweight clash.
