Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), the world’s fastest-growing combat sports promotion, returns to the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday, May 10, with an electrifying night of bare-knuckle action.
Headlining the event, Mike “The Marine” Richman (7-2) will defend his BKFC Light Heavyweight World Title against the #4 ranked challenger Josh “D Day” Dyer (4-1) in a high-stakes clash of elite fighters.
“This is our third event in Salt Lake City, and the crowds here have been among the biggest in BKFC history,” said David Feldman, Founder and President of BKFC. “Mike Richman has proven himself against some of the best in the world, but Josh Dyer has truly earned his shot with impressive performances and is ready for this opportunity.”
Mike Richman, a longtime fan favorite from Rosemount, MN, captured the world title with a devastating first-round knockout of Jared Warren on December 21, 2024. He boasts additional wins over veterans like Erick Lozano, Isaac Doolittle, Dakota Cochrane, and Marcel Stamps, and has previously contended for world titles against David Mundell and Lorenzo Hunt.
Josh Dyer, fighting out of Sioux Falls, SD, comes into this title fight after a spectacular first-round knockout of Will Albrecht at BKFC-63 before a massive crowd at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Dyer also holds notable victories over Dakota Cochrane and Jared Warren.
