Brad Solomon

Amateur Career

Solomon was a three-time National Golden Gloves champion as an amateur. He won the welterweight title in 2005, and the Light welterweight title in 2006 and 2007.

Solomon reached the semifinals in the Light welterweight class at the 2007 United States amateur championships, his results were:

• Defeated Samuel Martinez 23-6
• Defeated Danny Garcia 14-13
• Lost to Javier Molina 13-17
