Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz, two of the UFC's biggest stars representing Latinos in the states of Florida and California, will be facing each other in a boxing match on June 1.

Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz lived a fierce rivalry at UFC 244 in which Jorge Masvidal came out victorious and won the WBC title.

The fight was so good that it remains in the memory of many mixed martial arts fans as one of the toughest in the history of the body.

Now Diaz and Masvidal will be facing each other exclusively in boxing a fight that will be only 10 rounds under the title “Last Man Standing”, a fight that can be seen on pay-per-view in the United States.

As a curious fact, Jorge Masvidal will be supported in his corner by Jorge Capetillo, an expert boxing trainer and cutman who has worked with the best fighters in the sport of the sweet science, including Tyson Fury.

At the press conference Masvidal did not hesitate when asked about what he could deliver for his opponent in this new bout and his answer was blunt.

“You all know what's in store for you on June 1. Nothing but violence. That's what I'm going to deliver. I was busy chasing world titles after our first fight, so here we are in boxing and I can't wait to get in there and do my thing,” Masvidal noted.

It should also be noted that Nate Diaz is one of the few men who may have bragged about defeating Conor McGregor claimed he will return to the octagon for UFC 303.
